public relations

Public relations is the leading tool for promoting innovation.  It creates the perception of inevitability through real and implied third-party endorsements.  Owen Media uses its knowledge and contacts within the technology and energy industries to apply force to category influencers who affect perceptions of your company. We also start at the top.  That is, there are more than 50,000 media outlets in North America and an order of magnitude more in Europe and Asia.  But, for any given industry, there are only 15 to 20 outlets that really matter.  To be successful it’s far more important to get coverage in the top 10 percent of relevant media and analyst outlets than to sweat the little opportunities.  We believe many agencies waste valuable cycles pursuing low-level trade publications and newsletters at the expense of their clients’ perceived market leadership. It’s not that we don’t address all editors and analysts; it’s that if you secure coverage in the top 10 percent, the other 90 percent will quickly follow.
